This stunning location is on the Gove Peninsula, approximately a nine hour drive from Katherine via the Central Arnhem Road, and is the largest town in East Arnhem Land. Established in the 1960s to service a bauxite mine on the Peninsula, it has since grown to become the fourth largest town in the Northern Territory with a population of approximately 3350. It operates as a service and business hub for East Arnhem Land and is a vibrant community with a high standard of services.

Job Responsibilities

The positions involve dispensing, counselling, and the provision of dose administration aids to clients of the health service. The pharmacists also act as consultants to medical, nursing and allied health staff.

Counsel customers on their medical conditions and medications, both prescription and OTC, with the most up-to-date, evidence-based information
Execute health services to the highest professional standard
Build and maintain relationships with local health professionals
Supervise, direct and coach pharmacy assistants and intern pharmacists
Pharmaprograms and 7CPA claiming
Implement and follow QCPP policy and procedure to the highest standard
Oversee the supply and sale of medications, therapeutic devices and non-pharmacy products and provision of all pharmacy services

Educational Qualification

Bachelor of Pharmacy
Current registration with AHPRA
